The theory consists of mandatory classroom training, including the following modules:
- General theoretical knowledge of aviation and aviation regulations, duties and responsibilities of cabin crew
- Communication
- Passenger handling and cabin surveillance
- Survival
- Fire and Smoke Aero-medical aspects and first aid
- Introductory course on human factors (HF) and crew resource management (CRM)
- Dangerous goods
- General security aspects in aviation
The practice involves applying theoretical knowledge in the Firefighting simulator, using First Aid techniques and Ditching practice in a swimming pool. All practical training is contained within each theory module.
