Upon completing this TRE / SFE Standardisation course, you will have the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct and administer Skill tests, Proficiency checks and Assessments of Competence.

THEORY

The theoretical phase is focused on:
- Operational requirements and related AMCs and GM relevant to the duties;
- National requirements relevant to the examination duties;
- Fundamentals of human performance and limitations relevant to flight examination;
- Fundamentals of evaluation relevant to applicant’s performance;
- The management system of ATOs and the organizational structure of DTOs;
- MCC;
- Human performance and limitations;
- The national administrative procedures and requirements;
- and more.
PRATIQUE

The practical part consists of:
- Four instrument check profiles in the role of examiner;
- Skill test and proficiency check;
- Assessment of the applicant to whom the test or check is given (2 check profiles in one FFS);
- Debriefing and recording of documentation;
- and more.
Assessment of Competence, an additional FFS session carried out by the National CAA examiner or Senior Type Rating Examiner assigned by ATO, may be completed upon request.
EXIGENCES

TRE
- 1500 hours of flight time as a pilot of multi-pilot airplanes, of which at least 500 hours shall be as PIC;
- A CPL or ATPL and a TRI certificate for the applicable type;
- For the initial issue of a TRE certificate, at least 50 hours of flight instruction as a TRI or SFI in the applicable type of an FSTD representing that type.
SFE
- An ATPL and Type Rating;
- SFI certificate for the applicable type of airplane;
- At least 1500 hours of flight time as a pilot of a multi-pilot airplane;
