Start with no aviation experience and become an A320 First Officer flying for the largest narrow-body ACMI operator in the world.
The program is closed for enrollment
It is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator providing top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing and charter service solutions.
Both BAA Training and Avion Express are family members of Avia Solutions Group, the largest global ACMI provider with almost 100 MRO, ACMI, and Crew training locations worldwide. Currently, the airline operates a fleet of 55 aircraft.
It is a self-sponsored direct entry program suitable for those who aim to enter commercial operations. Upon completion, they will become A320 First Officers, joining the largest narrow-body ACMI operator in the world, headquartered in Lithuania.
The letters ACMI stand for Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance. When other airlines contact Avion Express, the carrier provides them with the abovementioned services. For example, they might reach out when there are not enough aircraft to meet the demand. In this case, Avion Express will take on flight operations on behalf of these companies.
Cadets of Avion Express can benefit from flying for many different airlines and gaining a lot of diverse experience, quickly adapting to each company’s operating procedures and policies. Some notable customers of Avion Express are Norwegian Air, TUI, LOT Polish Airlines, and VietJet Air, so don’t get surprised if you find yourself flying for these airlines one day as an Avion Express pilot.
The Avion Express cadet program includes ATPL Integrated, A320 Type Rating and Base Training. Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment from Avion Express before the training begins.
