WHAT IS BAA Training Cadet Program?
The BAA Training Cadet Program was designed with a clear purpose to ensure a student is employed as a commercial airline pilot after completing all of the training stages successfully. No previous aviation experience is required to join the training.
We, as an academy, oblige ourselves to provide a high-performing student’s candidacy to several airline partners and ensure the student gets an employment offer from at least one of them. In other words, it is your job to study well, and we take care of the rest – make sure you get hired and start working immediately after graduation. While other cadet programs also offer a straight path to the airline, BAA Training Cadet Program provides a 100% pilot training with job guarantee. We have more than 5 partners, leading European airlines, that are members of this distinctive cadet program. One of them will be your future employer, thrilled to welcome you on board!
To ensure the process is smooth-running, we will assign a personal career coach to you who will take you through the entire process from the day you start mulling this opportunity until you finally get your job offer.

You can choose where you want to study – in a traditional or virtual classroom. Take in-class learning at BAA Training in Vilnius, Lithuania, Lleida-Alguaire, Spain or connect virtually from anywhere in the world. 13 ATPL exams are taken at the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority).
VFR/NFFR flight raining
Visual Flight Rules (VFR) is a method and set of rules for flying aircraft by reference to the ground. Night visual flight rules (NVFR) are the visual flight rules under which a flight may be performed at night. You will practice on our Cessna 172S aircraft equipped with a full glass-cockpit integrated avionics suite.
IFR – FNPT flight training
Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) flight training teaches you to fly using the aircraft’s instruments instead of relying on visual cues. You will use an FNPT device to master this skill.
IFR – SEP flight training
This module teaches to fly by relying on the aircraft’s instruments instead of visual cues while using a single-engine piston aircraft.
ME – MEP flight training
ME – FNPT flight training
HOURS 11 | 3
Multi-engine training teaches the multi-engine plane aerodynamics and other specifics of flying such type of aircraft. It is performed on both a multi-engine piston (MEP) aircraft and an FNPT device.
AUPRT – SEP/VFR training
MCC – FTD flight training
HOURS 3 | 25 | 16
Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training combines theoretical knowledge and flight training and teaches to prevent and recover from airplane upsets, situations in which an airplane unintentionally exceeds the parameters. It is performed on single-engine piston (SEP) aircraft under visual flight rules (VFR).
Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course is competency-based training preparing to operate in a multi-pilot environment. The flight part of the course is performed on an FTD device. We have additionally integrated Virtual Reality technology to this stage to enhance the training quality.
After initial training, every licensed pilot has a new milestone – acquiring a Type Rating and
completing Base training. This step is crucial as it authorizes them to operate a specific type
of commercial aircraft (such as Boeing or Airbus, etc.). Taking one of the all-in-one packages
described above will reduce the total cost of your training.
TYPE RATING theory (incl. CPT)
4 tests & Final exam
HOURS 106 - 131
DAYS 18 - 20
