The Cabin Crew Initial training is introductory aviation training. Completing this course is mandatory for being issued the EU qualification document Cabin Crew Attestation.

The theory consists of mandatory classroom training, including the following modules:

  • General theoretical knowledge of aviation and aviation regulations, duties and responsibilities of cabin crew
  • Communication
  • Passenger handling and cabin surveillance
  • Survival
  • Fire and Smoke Aero-medical aspects and first aid
  • Introductory course on human factors (HF) and crew resource management (CRM)
  • Dangerous goods
  • General security aspects in aviation

The practice involves applying theoretical knowledge in the Firefighting simulator, using First Aid techniques and Ditching practice in a swimming pool. All practical training is contained within each theory module.
