WHAT IS
SmartLynx Airlines
Cadet Program?

This self-sponsored program is great for those who want to become commercial pilots on A320 and fly for SmartLynx Airlines, a leading EU-based ACMI headquartered in Latvia.

The letters ACMI stand for Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance. It means that when other airlines contact SmartLynx, they provide them with services such as aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance. For example, airlines might reach out to SmartLynx when they don’t have enough aircraft. In this case, SmartLynx will take on flight operations on behalf of these companies.

SmartLynx’s cadets, their future pilots, can benefit from flying for a multitude of airlines simultaneously, gaining a lot of diverse experience and learning to adapt quickly to each company’s special operating procedures and policies. You may find yourself flying for DHL, TUI fly, and easyJet since these are the major customers of SmartLynx.

SmartLynx cadet program includes ATPL Integrated with BAA Training followed by A320 Type Rating and Base Training with SmartLynx. Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment from SmartLynx before training begins.
