You will do a virtual walk around the aircraft via computer-based training (CBT) or using VR goggles and inspect the required areas, like in real life, before each flight. The training is held the same day as or the day before the simulator session.
During the ZFTT session, you will make 6 takeoffs and landings. You will have to demonstrate safe control and operation of the aircraft according to the AOM. Each item in the ZFTT simulator training report shall check progress and achievement of the required standard. The session lasts for a minimum of two hours per pilot and is conducted by a TRI(A), who occupies the left seat in the case of co-pilot training or the right seat in the case of PIC training.
